Ingredients:
1 cup apple pie filling, chopped
24 wonton wrappers
1/2 cup caramel sauce
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 egg, beaten
Cooking spray
Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Directions:
In a bowl, combine the chopped apple pie filling, caramel sauce, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg. Mix well.
Lay out the wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Place a small spoonful of the apple filling mixture in the center of each wrapper.
Brush the edges of the wonton wrappers with the beaten egg.
Fold the wrappers in half diagonally to form a triangle and press the edges firmly to seal. Ensure there are no air pockets.
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
Lightly spray the wontons with cooking spray and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches.
Air fry the wontons for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
Remove the wontons from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
