Breakfast Pigs in a Blanket

Ingredients:

– 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

– 8 breakfast sausage links (fully cooked)

– 2 large eggs

– 2 tablespoons milk

– ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Optional: maple syrup or honey for dipping

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Scramble the eggs: In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Cook in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until just set. Remove from heat.

3. Prepare the dough: Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.

4. Fill and wrap: On each triangle, place a spoonful of scrambled eggs, a sprinkle of cheese, and one sausage link. Roll up from the wide end to the point.

5. Bake: Place wrapped sausages on the baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.

6. Cool slightly before serving.

Serve warm with a side of fresh fruit, yogurt, or a drizzle of maple syrup for extra indulgence.

📝 Note:

You can swap sausage for turkey links or veggie sausages for a lighter or vegetarian version. These also freeze well—just reheat in the oven or air fryer!
