Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 teaspoon sriracha sauce (optional)
2 tablespoons butter
Freshly chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper to taste.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon in the pan, skin-side up, and sear for about 4 minutes until golden. Flip the fillets and continue to cook for another 3 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine the honey, orange juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, orange zest, and sriracha sauce. Whisk until well mixed.
Pour the glaze over the salmon in the skillet. Reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens and the salmon is thoroughly cooked.
Remove the skillet from the heat. Add the butter and swirl the pan until the butter melts completely and the sauce becomes glossy.
Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
