Chicken
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp salt

- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Mushroom Cream Sauce
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms (cremini or white)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ยฝ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried thyme (or 1 tbsp fresh)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1๏ธโฃ Season & Sear Chicken
- Pat chicken dry.
- Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken 4โ5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove and set aside (it will finish cooking later).
2๏ธโฃ Cook Mushrooms
- In the same pan, add butter.
- Add mushrooms and cook 4โ5 minutes until browned.
- Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
3๏ธโฃ Make the Sauce
- Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits from pan.
- Let simmer 3โ4 minutes.
- Add heavy cream, Parmesan, and thyme.
- Simmer until sauce thickens (5โ7 minutes).
4๏ธโฃ Finish Cooking
- Return chicken to skillet.
- Spoon sauce over top.
- Cover and simmer 6โ8 minutes until chicken is cooked through (165ยฐF internal temp).
5๏ธโฃ Garnish & Serve
- Sprinkle fresh parsley on top.
- Serve hot.
