Instructions:
Prepare the Loaf:
Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a loaf pan.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat together the sugar and lemon zest until fragrant. Add butter and cream until light and fluffy.
Mix in eggs one at a time, then stir in lemon juice, milk, and vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Make the Glaze:
Whisk together powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
Drizzle over the cooled loaf.
