Hot Honey Ground Beef Bowls (High-Protein)

Ingredients (2–3 servings)

  • 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef (90/10 or 85/15)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp hot honey (or honey + chili flakes)
  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1 cup roasted or sautéed vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, or zucchini)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart (6–8 minutes).
  3. Add garlic, smoked paprika, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Drizzle hot honey over the beef and toss well. Cook 1–2 more minutes until slightly sticky.
  5. Assemble bowls: add rice, top with hot honey beef, then vegetables.
  6. Serve immediately or store for meal prep.
