Ingredients
- 3 apples, peeled & thinly sliced
- 3 eggs
- 1 glass of milk (about 250 ml / 1 cup)
Optional (but highly recommended 😉)
- 2–3 tbsp sugar or honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp butter (for greasing the dish)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F.
- Grease a baking dish lightly with butter.
- Arrange sliced apples evenly in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs + milk until smooth.
- Add sugar/honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt if using.
- Pour mixture over the apples.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, until set and lightly golden.
- Let cool slightly — it will firm up and become ultra-soft inside.
