Ingredients:
Dough:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet (2ΒΌ tsp) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm skim milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp salt
Filling:
- 1/4 cup sugar substitute
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar substitute
- 2 tbsp skim milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Activate Yeast:Β Mix warm milk and a pinch of sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit 5β10 mins until foamy.
- Make Dough:Β In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, butter, eggs, salt, and yeast mixture. Mix into a soft dough.
- Knead:Β Knead for 8β10 mins until smooth. Place in greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1β2 hrs until doubled.
- Fill & Roll:Β Roll dough into a rectangle. Brush with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon + sugar substitute.
- Shape:Β Roll up, slice into 12 rolls. Place in greased dish, rise again for 30 mins.
- Bake:Β Bake at 350Β°F (175Β°C) for 20β25 mins until golden.
- Glaze:Β Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls.
