Parmesan Baked Potatoes

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 4 large potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 425ยฐF (220ยฐC).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. Prepare the Potatoes

  1. Cut the scrubbed potatoes into even wedges to ensure uniform cooking.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

3. Add Parmesan

  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the potatoes and toss lightly to coat evenly.

4. Bake

  • Arrange the potato wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 25โ€“30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy on the edges.

5. Serve

  • Remove from oven and optionally garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
  • Serve hot as a side dish or snack with your favorite dipping sauce.

Tips

  • For extra crispiness, soak potato wedges in cold water for 30 minutes before baking, then pat dry.
  • You can add a pinch of paprika or chili powder for a mild kick.
