Ingredients

For the Crust

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

½ cup sugar

2 cups all-purpose flour

¼ tsp salt

For the Pecan Filling

3 large eggs

1 cup light corn syrup

1 cup brown sugar

2 tbsp melted butter

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups chopped pecans

Pinch of salt

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13 baking pan.

Make the crust: Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add flour and salt. Press evenly into the pan and bake for 15 minutes.

Prepare the filling: Whisk eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Stir in pecans.

Pour filling over the warm crust.

Bake 25–30 minutes, or until the filling is set and lightly golden.

Cool completely before cutting into bars.
