Ingredients:
– 1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
– 1 cup cherry pie filling
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 tsp cinnamon
– 2 tbsp butter, melted
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
3. Place a spoonful of cherry pie filling in the center of each triangle.
4. Fold the corners of the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal and form a ball.
5. Arrange the pie bombs on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.
6. In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together.
7. Brush the top of each pie bomb with melted butter, then sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
9. Allow the cherry pie bombs to cool slightly before serving.
Note: For an extra touch, drizzle with a simple icing made of powdered sugar and milk.
