Delightful Pumpkin Patch Mix 🎃

Servings: 12
Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
4 cups Rice Chex cereal
4 cups Corn Chex cereal
1 cup pretzels
1 cup pecans (or your favorite nuts)
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup candy corn (optional)
1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex, Corn Chex, pretzels, and pecans.
Prepare the Pumpkin Spice Mixture: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Combine: Pour the pumpkin spice mixture over the Chex mixture and toss gently to coat all the pieces evenly.
Microwave Method: Transfer the mixture to a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 4-5 minutes, stirring every minute, until the mix is crispy and fragrant. Alternatively, you can bake the mix in a preheated 300°F (150°C) oven for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Cool and Add Extras: Spread the mixture out on a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool. Once cooled, add the candy corn and white chocolate chips, if using.
Serve: Transfer to a serving bowl or store in an airtight container.
Notes:
Variations: Add dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds, or even mini marshmallows for extra flavor and texture.
Storage: Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
This Pumpkin Spice Chex Mix is a perfect combination of sweet, salty, and spicy, making it a great snack for fall gatherings or cozy nights in!
