𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
• 1 lb ground beef or turkey
• 1 packet taco seasoning
• 12 wonton wrappers
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• ½ cup salsa
• ¼ cup sour cream
• ¼ cup diced tomatoes
• ¼ cup chopped cilantro
• 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)
𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
1. Prep the Beef: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat, then stir in the taco seasoning and a bit of water according to the seasoning packet instructions. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
2. Assemble the Cupcakes: Spray a muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray. Place a wonton wrapper into each cup, pressing it gently to fit the shape of the cup. Spoon a tablespoon of the taco meat into each cup, then top with a bit of salsa and shredded cheese. Place another wonton wrapper on top and repeat the layers (meat, salsa, cheese).
3. Bake: Bake the taco cupcakes in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crispy.
4. Garnish and Serve: Remove the taco cupcakes from the oven and let them cool slightly. Top each with a dollop of sour cream, diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, and a slice of jalapeño if you like it spicy!
