Ingredients:
4 fillets of white fish (such as cod )
2 limes, juiced and zested
4 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tablespoons of fish sauce
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 red chili, finely sliced
1 bunch of fresh cilantro, chopped
1 tablespoon of ginger, grated
Directions:
Rinse the fish fillets and pat dry with paper towels.
In a small bowl, mix lime juice and zest, garlic, fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
Place the fish in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring the fish is evenly coated. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.
Transfer the fish and marinade into a steaming dish. Sprinkle the sliced red chili and half of the chopped cilantro over the top.
Steam the fish in a preheated steamer for about 10-12 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.
