A delightful twist on classic pumpkin bread with a snickerdoodle topping!
You Will Need:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup pumpkin puree
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
Snickerdoodle Topping:
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
In another bowl, cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in pumpkin, eggs, and vanilla.
Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan. Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle over the batter.
Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack.
