No-Bake Peanut Butter Haystacks

Ingredients:


1 cup of smooth peanut butter
11 ounce package butterscotch chips
4 cups chow mein noodles
1 cup peanuts (roasted, optional)

Directions:

Combine the peanut butter and butterscotch chips in a large microwave-safe bowl.

Microwave for 30 seconds on high heat, stirring well after each time until the mixture becomes smooth and liquid.

Gently stir in the chow mein noodles (and roasted peanuts if using) to coat uniformly with the mixture of peanut butter and butterscotch.

On a wax paper-lined baking sheet, drop spoonfuls of it.

Allow them to cool and set at room temperature or put them in the fridge for faster setting up.

Once they are set, keep them in an airtight container at room temperature or refrigerate.
