Ingredients and Their Significance:

  1. White Sugar: Providing the sweetness and structure of the fudge, white sugar forms the base of this confectionary delight.
  2. Evaporated Milk: Adding richness and creaminess to the fudge, evaporated milk ensures a smooth texture and luscious mouthfeel.
  3. Unsalted Butter: Contributing richness and flavor, unsalted butter adds a velvety richness to the fudge without overpowering the chocolate.
  4. Salt: Balancing the sweetness and enhancing the flavors, salt is a crucial ingredient that brings out the nuances of the other components.
  5. Milk Chocolate Chips: Infusing the fudge with rich chocolate flavor, milk chocolate chips melt into a creamy consistency, creating a luxurious chocolatey base.
  6. Marshmallows: Providing a pillowy texture and subtle sweetness, marshmallows add depth and dimension to the fudge, complementing the chocolatey goodness.
  7. Pure Vanilla Extract: Enhancing the flavor profile with its aromatic essence, pure vanilla extract adds a fragrant undertone that elevates the overall taste of the fudge.
  8. Chopped Nuts: Offering a satisfying crunch and nutty flavor, chopped nuts add texture and contrast to the smooth fudge, creating a delightful sensory experience.

Directions: Step 1: In a saucepan, combine the white sugar, evaporated milk, unsalted butter, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes until the mixture reaches a smooth consistency and the sugar is fully dissolved. Step 2: Once the sugar mixture is smooth and creamy, add the milk chocolate chips to the saucepan, stirring continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and incorporated into the mixture. Step 3: Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the marshmallows, pure vanilla extract, and chopped nuts to the chocolate mixture, stirring well until everything is evenly combined and the marshmallows are fully incorporated. Step 4: Pour the fudge mixture into an 8-inch square pan lined with parchment paper, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
