𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐨gs Recipe

Ingredients:
– 🫐 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (no added sugar)
– 🎃 1 cup pure pumpkin puree (unsweetened, no added spices)
– 🌾 2 cups whole wheat flour
– 🥣 1/2 cup rolled oats
– 🍯 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
– 🥚 2 large eggs
Instructions:
1. 🔥 Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease with non-stick spray.
2. 🫐 If using frozen blueberries, thaw and drain them well.
3. 🎃 In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, eggs, and honey (if using). Mix well.
4. 🍚 Add the whole wheat flour and rolled oats to the wet ingredients. Stir until a dough forms.
5. 🥗 Gently fold in the blueberries until evenly distributed.
6. 🧑‍🍳 Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
7. 🍪 Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes, or simply cut the dough into squares with a knife.
8. 🥄 Place the cut-out shapes on the prepared baking sheet.
9. ⏲️ Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chews are firm and golden brown.
10. ❄️ Allow the chews to cool on a wire rack completely before serving.
Storage:
📦 Store the chews in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
Notes:
– 🐾 These chews are made with dog-friendly ingredients, but it’s a good idea to check with your vet before introducing new foods to your dog’s diet.
– 🎃 Make sure to use pure pumpkin puree without added sugars or spices, which can be harmful to dogs.
Enjoy making these healthy and delicious chews for your furry friend! 🐶🧁
