Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3 pounds pork spareribs
Directions:
Prepare the Sauce
In a saucepan, mix the brown sugar and flour together.
Gradually add the water, followed by the vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, ground ginger, and garlic powder. Stir to combine.
Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously until the mixture comes to a boil and thickens.
Prepare the Ribs
Layer the pork spareribs in the crockpot, placing them in a single layer if possible.
Spoon the prepared sauce evenly over each layer of ribs.
Cook the Ribs
Cover and cook on Low for 10-12 hours or on High for 5-6 hours, until the ribs are very tender.
Serve
Once cooked, remove the ribs from the crockpot and serve them with the remaining sauce drizzled on top.
