Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup (240 ml) milk (or almond milk for low-carb)
- 2 tablespoons flax seeds (whole or ground)
- 2 tablespoons psyllium husk
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Optional:
- 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (moisture)
- Herbs (oregano, thyme)
- Garlic powder
- Sesame seeds
⭐ Instructions
1. Prepare the Jar
Use a microwave-safe glass jar or mug.
Lightly grease with oil or butter.
2. Mix the Batter
In a bowl, whisk together:
- 3 eggs
- milk
- flax seeds
- psyllium
- baking powder
- salt
- (Optional oil + herbs)
Let the mixture sit 2–3 minutes so the psyllium thickens.
3. Microwave
Pour batter into the jar.
Microwave 1–2 minutes depending on power:
- 1,000W → about 1 minute 20 seconds
- 800W → about 1 minute 40–50 seconds
Bread should rise and become firm.
4. Serve
Remove from jar, slice, and enjoy!
You can toast the slices for extra crispiness.
