Avocado, Mozzarella, and Tomato Grilled Cheese

Ingredients:

8 slices of bread

2 avocados, sliced

8 slices of mozzarella cheese

2 tomatoes, sliced

1/4 cup butter, softened

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Assemble Sandwiches: Take two slices of bread. Layer avocado slices evenly on one slice of bread. Place mozzarella cheese slices on top of the avocado. Add tomato slices over the cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover with the second slice of bread to form a sandwich. Repeat this process for the remaining sandwiches.

2. Butter Bread: Spread softened butter evenly on the outer sides of each sandwich, covering both the top and bottom slices of bread.

3. Cook Sandwiches: Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Once the pan is hot, place the prepared sandwiches in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread turns golden brown and the cheese inside has melted completely. Press down gently with a spatula if needed to ensure even cooking.

4. Serve: Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and let them rest for a minute before slicing. Serve warm.
