Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1¼ cups buttermilk, cold
- 1½ cups blueberries
Instructions
1. Prepare the Dough
In a large mixing bowl combine:
- flour
- sugar
- baking powder
- baking soda
- salt
Mix well.
Add the cold butter cubes and cut them into the flour using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Gently fold in the blueberries.
2. Add the Buttermilk
Make a well in the center of the mixture.
Pour in the cold buttermilk.
Stir gently with a spatula until a soft dough forms. Avoid overmixing to keep the biscuits tender.
3. Shape the Biscuits
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface.
Pat it into a rectangle about 1 inch thick.
Cut the dough into rounds or squares using a biscuit cutter or knife.
4. Bake
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place biscuits on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
Brush the tops lightly with extra buttermilk for a golden finish.
Bake for 16–20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.

Transfer biscuits to a wire rack and let them cool slightly.
