Ingredients:
Cake:
- 1 box butter cake mix (or yellow cake mix)
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Frosting:
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (plus extra for topping)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:

Make the Cake:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix cake mix, eggs, butter, milk, vanilla, and pecans until smooth.
Pour into greased 9×13 pan. Bake 30–35 mins or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool. -
Make the Frosting:
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add condensed milk, pecans, and vanilla.
Cook and stir 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened. -
Assemble:
Pour warm frosting over cooled cake. Sprinkle extra pecans on top. Let set.
