Quick Description

Juicy, seasoned beef layered over roasted cabbage “steaks,” topped with marinara and melted cheese. It’s like a deconstructed stuffed cabbage — but easier, cheesier, and low-carb friendly.

  • Servings: 4–6
  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
  • Cook Time: 35–40 minutes
  • Total Time: ~50 minutes

2. Prepare Cabbage Steaks

  • Slice cabbage into thick rounds (about 1 inch thick)
  • Place on tray
  • Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt
  • Roast for 15 minutes until slightly tender

Additional Notes

  • Don’t overcook cabbage — it should hold shape
  • Use lean beef for less grease
  • Add chili flakes if you want spice

Variations

  • Keto Version: Use sugar-free marinara
  • Turkey Version: Swap ground beef for ground turkey
  • Extra Protein: Add cottage cheese under meat layer

Storage

  • Fridge: 3–4 days
  • Reheat: Oven or air fryer for best texture
