Instructions

Blend the mousse base
In a blender or food processor, combine cottage cheese, cocoa powder, honey or sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
Blend until smooth and creamy. -
Adjust sweetness
Taste and adjust sweetness or flavor as needed, adding more honey or cocoa if desired. -
Whip the cream (optional)
If you want a lighter texture, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form and gently fold it into the cottage cheese mixture. -
Chill
Spoon the mousse into individual serving cups or a large serving dish.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set. -
Garnish & serve
Garnish with chocolate shavings or chocolate chips, if desired.
