1 (8 oz) block of cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups finely crushed graham crackers
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
2 cups panko breadcrumbs
Oil for frying
Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
Prepare Cheesecake Mixture:
In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Shape and Freeze:
Shape the mixture into small 1-inch diameter balls.
Roll the balls in crushed graham crackers to coat.
Place the coated cheesecake balls in the freezer for at least 2 hours.
Set Up Dredging Station:
Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs mixed with milk, and one with panko breadcrumbs.
Bread the Cheesecake Balls:
Take the frozen cheesecake balls and roll each in flour.
Dip them in the egg mixture.
Coat them with panko breadcrumbs.
Return the breaded balls to the freezer for at least 1 hour.
Fry:
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
Fry the cheesecake balls in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
Drain and Dust:
Drain the fried cheesecake balls on paper towels.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
