Tender chicken coated in a golden, crispy Parmesan crust with garlic and Italian herbs. Simple, juicy, and absolutely irresistible!


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (pounded to even thickness)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Panko = extra crispy)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten (for coating)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for drizzling)

🧑‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep the Chicken

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment or lightly oil it.
  • Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.

2. Mix the Coating

In a shallow bowl, combine:

  • Parmesan
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning

3. Bread the Chicken

  1. Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs.
  2. Press into the Parmesan–breadcrumb mixture, coating well on both sides.
  3. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle lightly with olive oil or melted butter for extra crispiness.

4. Bake

  • Bake 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) and the coating is golden and crisp.

(Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes to make it super golden!)
