📝 Ingredients:
- 4 boneless or bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 6–8 pepperoncini peppers (plus a splash of the juice, optional)
- Salt & pepper to taste
🔥 Instructions:
- Prep the Pork:
- Lightly season pork chops with salt and pepper (go easy—ranch and au jus mixes add saltiness).
- Optional: Sear chops in a hot skillet with a little oil for 2–3 minutes per side for extra flavor and color.
- Layer in the Crock Pot:
- Place pork chops in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch and au jus seasoning packets evenly over the top.
- Add the butter (cut into chunks) and scatter pepperoncinis on top.
- Pour in 1–2 tablespoons of pepperoncini juice if you want extra tang.
- Slow Cook:
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the pork is fork-tender and pulls apart easily.
- Serve It Up:
- Spoon some of the flavorful juices over the pork when serving.
- Pairs perfectly with mashed potatoes, rice, or even over egg noodles.
