📝 Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless or bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6–8 pepperoncini peppers (plus a splash of the juice, optional)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

🔥 Instructions:

  1. Prep the Pork:
    • Lightly season pork chops with salt and pepper (go easy—ranch and au jus mixes add saltiness).
    • Optional: Sear chops in a hot skillet with a little oil for 2–3 minutes per side for extra flavor and color.
  2. Layer in the Crock Pot:
    • Place pork chops in the bottom of the slow cooker.
    • Sprinkle the ranch and au jus seasoning packets evenly over the top.
    • Add the butter (cut into chunks) and scatter pepperoncinis on top.
    • Pour in 1–2 tablespoons of pepperoncini juice if you want extra tang.
  3. Slow Cook:
    • Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the pork is fork-tender and pulls apart easily.
  4. Serve It Up:
    • Spoon some of the flavorful juices over the pork when serving.
    • Pairs perfectly with mashed potatoes, rice, or even over egg noodles.
