This no-fuss, cheesy comfort food classic is layered with love—and frozen ravioli! Perfect for busy nights, picky eaters, or when you just need a low-effort win.

📝 Ingredients

  • 1 bag (25 oz) frozen ravioli (cheese or beef – your call)
  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage (optional, for extra heartiness)
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara or pasta sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish (optional)
  • Nonstick spray or olive oil (for coating the crockpot)

🍳 Instructions

  1. Brown the Meat (if using):
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned. Drain excess fat and season with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  2. Prep the Crockpot:
Lightly spray the inside of your crockpot with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
  3. Layer It Up:
    • Spread a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
    • Add a layer of frozen ravioli (no need to thaw!).
    • Spoon over some meat (if using) and more sauce.
    • Sprinkle a generous handful of mozzarella and a little Parmesan.
    • Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.
  4. Cook:
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2–2.5 hours, until bubbly and hot all the way through.
  5. Garnish & Serve:
Top with fresh basil or parsley if you’re feeling fancy. Serve straight from the crockpot with garlic bread or a simple salad.

💡 Tips & Variations

  • Want veggies? Add a layer of fresh spinach or sautéed mushrooms between the ravioli layers.
  • Make it creamy: mix a little ricotta or cream cheese into one of the cheese layers.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for 3–4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
