For the Flatbread
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
For the Garlic Butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
🧑🍳 Instructions
1. Make the Dough
- In a bowl, mix flour + baking powder + salt.
- Add warm water and olive oil.
- Stir until a dough forms.
- Knead 2–3 minutes until smooth and soft.
- Cover and let rest 10 minutes (helps make softer flatbread).
2. Prepare Garlic Butter
- Mix melted butter + minced garlic + parsley (if using).
- Set aside.
3. Roll the Flatbreads
- Divide dough into 6–8 balls.
- Roll each into a thin circle or oval (⅛–¼ inch thick).
4. Cook
- Heat a skillet or pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook each flatbread 1–2 minutes per side until puffed and golden spots appear.
- Immediately brush the hot flatbread with garlic butter.
5. Serve
