This rich, buttery seafood pasta combines succulent salmon, juicy shrimp, and creamy garlic parmesan sauce over a bed of linguine. It’s an easy, restaurant-quality dish perfect for special dinners!

Ingredients:

For the Seafood:

2 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)

12-16 large shrimp, peeled & deveined

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

For the Pasta & Sauce:

8 oz linguine or fettuccine

2 tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth (or seafood broth)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt & pepper to taste

1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions:

Cook the Pasta:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente.

Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain & set aside.

Cook the Salmon & Shrimp:

Pat dry the salmon and shrimp with paper towels.

Season both with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Heat 1 tbsp olive oil + 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Cook salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook 3 more minutes.

Remove salmon from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

Squeeze lemon juice over shrimp and set aside.

Make the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

In the same pan, melt 2 tbsp butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.

Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.

Mix in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.

Simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.

Add cooked pasta and toss to coat. If sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water 1 tbsp at a time.

Assemble & Serve:

Nestle salmon fillets and shrimp on top of the pasta.

Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan.

Serve immediately and enjoy!

Pro Tips: For extra flavor, sear the salmon with a squeeze of honey for a caramelized crust.

Spice it up with a dash of Cajun seasoning.

Pair it with a side of garlic bread & a crisp white wine like Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay.
