Ginger and Clove Infusion Recipe
Ingredients:
Water: Approximately 4-5 cups (or 1/2 gallon)
Fresh ginger root: A small piece, peeled and sliced or chopped (around 1-2 inches or a handful)
Whole cloves: 6-10 whole cloves (or 1 tablespoon)
Optional: Honey or lemon juice to taste
Instructions:
Combine ingredients: In a pot, bring the water to a boil.
Simmer: Add the cloves and sliced ginger to the boiling water.
Steep: Reduce the heat to a simmer, cover, and let it steep or simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
Strain and serve: Remove the pot from the heat, strain the liquid into cups, discarding the solid spices.
Customize: Stir in honey or lemon juice if desired, and serve warm or chilled
