Ingredients

- 1 small cabbage, chopped
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup onions, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon bouillon powder (beef or chicken)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, or 1 tbsp tomato paste for deeper flavor
Instructions
1. Brown the Beef
- Heat a large skillet or pot over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add chopped onions and garlic; cook 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
2. Add the Cabbage
- Add the chopped cabbage directly to the skillet.
- Sprinkle the bouillon powder over the top.
- Season with salt, pepper, and any optional spices.
- Stir well — the cabbage will shrink as it cooks.
3. Add Tomatoes & Simmer
- Pour in the can of diced tomatoes (with juices).
- Stir everything together.
- Cover and simmer 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender.
- Taste and adjust seasoning.

Tips
- Add 1–2 tbsp soy sauce for a deeper savory flavor.
- Toss in cooked rice at the end for a “unstuffed cabbage roll” vibe.
