Ingredients List

- 1 small onion (70g), diced
- 1 green bell pepper (150g), diced
- 1 yellow bell pepper (150g), diced
- 1 jalapeรฑo, minced
- 4 slices of thick center cut bacon, chopped
- 2 lbs (907g) ground beef (80/20)
- 1 cup beef bone broth (236mL)
- 15 oz (425g) keto tomato sauce
- 10 oz (283g) can diced tomatoes & green chilies
- 7 oz (200g) tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Cook the Bacon and Vegetables:

- In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy.
- Remove the bacon and set it aside, leaving the bacon fat in the pot.

- In the same pot, add the diced onion, green bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, jalapeรฑo, and minced garlic.
- Sautรฉ for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are softened.

- Cook the beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat if needed.

- Add the beef bone broth, hot sauce, and all the spices (chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic powder).
