Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried oregano (optional)
  • ¼ tsp salt

For Garlic Butter Topping:

  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Make the dough:
    • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mozzarella and cream cheese.
    • Microwave for 30–45 seconds, stir, then heat again until fully melted and smooth.
    • Mix in almond flour, egg, baking powder, garlic powder, oregano, and salt.
    • Stir until a dough forms (it may be sticky; use lightly oiled hands if needed).
  3. Shape the bread:
    • Spread the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping into a rectangle or oval about ½ inch thick.
  4. Prepare garlic butter topping:
    • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley.
    • Brush evenly over the dough.
    • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake:
    • Place in oven and bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown on the edges.
  6. Slice & serve:
    • Cool slightly, cut into strips or wedges, and enjoy warm!

Tips:

  • Add extra mozzarella on top before baking for an extra cheesy crust.
  • Serve with low-carb marinara sauce for dipping.
