Ingredients
* ½ lb white American cheese (from the deli, sliced or cubed)
* ¼ cup whole milk (add more as needed)
* 1 tbsp butter
* 1 small can (4 oz) diced green chiles
* ½ tsp garlic powder
* ½ tsp onion powder
* Salt to taste
* Optional: diced jalapeños, cilantro, or a splash of pickled jalapeño juice

Instructions
1. In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter.
2. Add white American cheese and milk. Stir constantly until smooth and creamy.
3. Stir in green chiles, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
4. Keep stirring until fully melted and silky. Add a little more milk if needed.
5. Taste and adjust seasoning. Add jalapeños for extra heat if desired.
