Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger root, peeled and grated
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 4–5 cups water
  • Optional: a few mint leaves or cucumber slices for extra freshness

  • In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
  • Add the grated ginger and simmer gently for 5–10 minutes to release the flavors.

2️⃣ Strain:

  • Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  • Strain the ginger tea into a large pitcher to remove the ginger pieces.

3️⃣ Add & Chill:

  • Pour in the remaining cold water.
