  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Old Bay or Cajun seasoning (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Sauté the shrimp and aromatics

  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and shallot; cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Stir in the chopped shrimp and season with a little salt, pepper, and Old Bay if using.
  • Cook until pink, about 2–3 minutes, then remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.

2. Wilt the spinach

  • In the same skillet, add the chopped spinach.
  • Sauté for 1–2 minutes until wilted, then reduce heat to low.

3. Make the creamy crab cheese sauce

  • Add cream cheese to the skillet and stir until melted.
  • Slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly until smooth and creamy.
  • Mix in Parmesan and mozzarella cheese until melted and combined.
  • Stir in lemon juice for brightness.

4. Add the seafood

  • Gently fold in the cooked shrimp and crab meat.
  • Stir to combine and cook for another 2–3 minutes on low heat, until everything is heated through and creamy.

5. Serve

  • Garnish with fresh parsley or chives.
  • Serve hot over rice, pasta, or toasted bread for dipping.

💡 Tips & Variations

  • Add spice: Stir in a pinch of crushed red pepper or Cajun seasoning.
  • Lighter version: Use reduced-fat cream cheese and milk instead of heavy cream.
