๐ Ingredients
For the Stir-Fry
- 2 chicken breasts, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 small onion, sliced (optional)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional, for richness)
- 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce or sriracha (optional for heat)
- 1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
For the Steamed Rice
- 1 cup jasmine or basmati rice
- 2 cups water
- Pinch of salt
๐ฉโ๐ณ Instructions
1๏ธโฃ Cook the Rice
- Rinse rice until water runs clear.
- Add rice, water, and salt to a pot.
- Bring to a boil, then lower heat, cover, and simmer 12โ15 minutes until fluffy.
- Set aside.
2๏ธโฃ Prepare the Stir-Fry

Season the chicken:
Toss diced chicken with salt, pepper, and cornstarch (if using). -
Heat the pan:
Add oil to a hot wok or deep pan. -
Sautรฉ aromatics:
Add minced garlic and sliced onion. Cook 30โ45 seconds until fragrant. -
Cook the chicken:
Add chicken and stir-fry until lightly golden. -
Add peppers:
Stir in sliced red and green bell peppers. -
Add sauces:
Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili garlic sauce (optional), and vinegar/lemon juice.
Mix well and cook 2โ3 more minutes until everything is coated and glossy.
