Step-by-Step Instructions


Step 1: Prepare the Lemon Cream

  1. In a saucepan, whisk together:
    • Egg
    • Sugar
    • Cornstarch
  2. Gradually add milk while whisking to avoid lumps.
  3. Place over medium heat and stir constantly.
  4. Cook until thick and creamy (about 3โ€“5 minutes).
  5. Remove from heat and stir in:
    • Lemon juice
    • Lemon zest
  6. Let cool slightly while you prepare the dough.

The cream should be smooth and pudding-like.


Step 2: Prepare the Dough
