Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • ½ pound breakfast sausage
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk (whole milk preferred for creaminess)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter

🔧 Instructions

1. Prep the Biscuit Crust:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
  • Flatten and press biscuit dough into the bottom of the pan, pinching seams together to form a single crust layer. Bake for 8–10 minutes, just until starting to set (not fully cooked).

2. Make the Sausage Gravy:

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked.
  • Sprinkle flour over sausage and stir for 1 minute to coat.
  • Gradually whisk in milk and cook, stirring frequently, until thickened (5–7 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
  • Remove from heat and set aside.

3. Scramble the Eggs:

  • In a nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Crack in the eggs, scramble lightly, and cook until just set (they’ll finish cooking in the oven). Set aside.

4. Assemble the Pizza:

  • Spread the sausage gravy evenly over the pre-baked biscuit crust.
  • Top with scrambled eggs, then sprinkle cheddar cheese over everything.

5. Bake to Finish:

  • Return the pizza to the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. Serve and Enjoy:

  • Slice into squares and serve hot. Optional: Top with chopped green onions or a dash of hot sauce!
