- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
- ยฝ cup chopped onion (about ยฝ small onion)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp mustard
Creamy Cheese Base & Seasoning
- 2 oz cream cheese
- ยฝ cup chicken or beef broth
- ยฝ tsp onion powder
- ยฝ tsp garlic powder
- ยผ tsp salt
- ยผ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions

Cook the bacon
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and lightly spray with cooking spray.
Add chopped bacon and cook until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside. -
Brown the meat
Drain all but 1 tablespoon of bacon grease from the skillet.
Add ground beef (or turkey) and chopped onion.
Cook until browned, then drain excess grease. -
Make the sauce
Stir in tomato paste, mustard, cream cheese, broth, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook, stirring, until cream cheese is melted and a smooth sauce forms. -
Finish with cheese
Reduce heat to low.
Sprinkle cooked bacon and shredded cheddar over the skillet. -
Melt & serve
Cover and cook for 5โ7 minutes, until cheese is fully melted.
Serve hot.
