Ingredients
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or vanilla)
- ½ cup heavy cream or whipped topping
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3–4 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: protein powder (1 scoop chocolate or vanilla for extra protein boost)
Toppings:
- Fresh raspberries
- Dark chocolate shavings
- Dusting of powdered sugar (optional)
Instructions
1. Whip the cream
In a bowl, beat heavy cream until soft peaks form.
2. Mix the base
In another bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla, salt, and protein powder (if using) until smooth.
3. Combine
Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate yogurt mixture gently until fully incorporated and fluffy.
4. Chill
Spoon into jars or cups and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
5. Serve
Top with raspberries, shaved chocolate, and a sprinkle of powdered sugar before serving.
Optional Variations
- Mocha twist: Add 1 teaspoon instant espresso powder.
- Peanut butter mousse: Swirl in 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter.
- Low-fat version: Skip the heavy cream, use only Greek yogurt for a thicker, tangier mousse.
