Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Egg Mixture
In a heatproof bowl or double boiler, combine egg yolks, sugar, and 1/2 cup of heavy cream. Place over gently simmering water and whisk constantly. Cook for 7โ€“10 minutes until thickened, pale, and slightly fluffy. The mixture should reach about 160ยฐF (71ยฐC). Remove from heat.

Step 2: Melt the Chocolate
