Golden, crispy puff pastry filled with creamy spinach-garlic goodness. These disappear FAST at gatherings!


🧀 Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 7 oz baby spinach
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional but recommended)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cook the Spinach:
    Heat olive oil or butter in a pan. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds.
    Add spinach and cook until wilted. Squeeze out any excess moisture and chop finely.
  2. Make the Filling:
    In a bowl, mix:
    • cooked spinach
    • cream cheese
    • Parmesan
    • salt & pepper
  3. Prepare Puff Pastry:
    • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
    • Roll out puff pastry lightly and cut into 9–12 squares.
  4. Assemble the Puffs:
    • Place 1–2 teaspoons of spinach filling in center of each square.
    • Fold corners toward the center and pinch to seal (or fold into triangles).
    • Brush tops with egg wash.
  5. Bake:
    Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden, puffed, and crisp.
  6. Serve:
    Best enjoyed warm. They stay crispy for hours!
