Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs cod loin fillet, patted dry
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice (from 1–2 lemons)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ cup butter, diced
  • 1 small lemon, sliced
  • Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

  • 1. Prepare the Baking Dish
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a rectangular baking dish that fits the cod pieces without overcrowding. Place the seasoned cod fillets in the dish.
