Total Time: 3 hours 15 minutes

Ingredients

The Base

  • 1 box (5 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold whole milk
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

The Cream

  • 1 container (12 oz) whipped topping, thawed
    or freshly whipped cream

The Layers

  • 4โ€“5 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 box vanilla wafer cookies

Instructions

Prepare the Pudding

In a large bowl, whisk together instant pudding mix, cold milk, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Let it sit for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Fold in the Cream

Gently fold half of the whipped topping into the pudding mixture until creamy and smooth.

Layer the Dessert

In a rectangular serving dish, arrange a layer of vanilla wafers at the bottom.
Add sliced bananas, then spread half of the pudding mixture over the top.

Repeat with another layer of wafers, bananas, and the remaining pudding.

Top & Garnish

Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding.

Decorate with crushed vanilla wafers, whole cookies, and a few fresh banana slices for that bakery-style finish ๐ŸŒโœจ

Chill & Set

Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight until the cookies soften into a cake-like texture.

Serve

Serve chilled and creamyโ€”sweet, soft, and absolutely irresistible ๐Ÿ˜

Additional Notes

Best Texture Tip โœจ
Letting the pudding chill overnight gives the cookies a soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture.

European/UK Alternative
Vanilla wafers can be replaced with thin sponge biscuits or custard creams.

Meal Prep & Storage

  • Store covered in the fridge for up to 3 days
  • Best served cold
