(Just like the squares in your image)
Ingredients
- 2 cups chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet)
- 1 cup peanut butter (creamy)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal or crushed digestive/graham crackers
- 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional – adds that bumpy top like in your photo)
Instructions
1. Make the Chocolate Base
- Add chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter to a saucepan.
- Heat on low, stirring until completely smooth.
2. Add the Crunch
- Remove from heat and fold in:
- Rice Krispies (or crushed biscuits)
- Mini marshmallows (if using)
- Mix until coated but still chunky.
3. Shape the Bars
- Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper.
- Pour the mixture in and press evenly.
- For a glossy top like your photo, spread a little extra melted chocolate over the top.
4. Chill
Refrigerate 2–3 hours, then slice into squares.
Tips
- Use milk chocolate for a soft, smooth finish like the picture.
- For thicker bars, use a smaller pan.
- Add nuts, pretzels, or caramel bits for extra texture.
