Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 oz) tub of whipped topping (Cool Whip)
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 can (15 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup pineapple tidbits, drained (optional for added flavor)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (optional for added creaminess)
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest (for an extra citrusy punch)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the pudding:
    • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix with 1 cup of cold milk. Whisk until the pudding mix is dissolved, and the mixture starts to thicken. This should take about 1–2 minutes. If you want to add a creamy texture, stir in the sour cream at this point.
  2. Add whipped topping:
    • Once the pudding has thickened, gently fold in the whipped topping (Cool Whip) into the pudding mixture. Use a rubber spatula or spoon to combine the two until smooth.
  3. Mix in fruit and marshmallows:
    • Add the drained mandarin oranges and mini marshmallows to the mixture. Stir gently to avoid breaking up the oranges too much. If you’re using pineapple tidbits, you can add them here as well.
  4. Add the orange zest:
