🧾 Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ cups (300 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • ¾ cup (180 ml) warm milk or water
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt (for softness)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter

For topping:

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1–2 cloves garlic (optional, minced)
  • Sesame seeds or nigella seeds
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Make the dough
    In a bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
    Add warm liquid, yogurt, and oil. Mix into a soft dough.
  2. Knead
    Knead for about 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Rest
    Cover and let it rise for 1–1.5 hours until doubled.
  4. Shape
    Divide into small balls. Roll each into an oval or round shape.
  5. Cook (no oven needed!)
    Heat a pan or skillet on medium-high.
    Place the dough in the hot pan—cook until bubbles form and the bottom gets golden spots.
    Flip and cook the other side.
  6. Finish like the picture
    Brush immediately with melted butter + garlic.
    Sprinkle sesame seeds and herbs.
